In 2010, we began a cyclical process (see figure, above) involving annual evaluation of student work in relation to a specific outcome, collating results from a set of evaluations, examining and discussing the results to determine needed changes in pedagogy/courses/curricula at a program level , and subsequently re-evaluating student work to gauge the effectiveness of changes (see our Calendar of Assessments).  We have conducted evaluations of student work according to a matrix of courses [see the  matrices for A ECL and FOR courses] in which each outcome is linked to specific elements of a course. Evaluation of student work in each course is based on instructor use of a rubric for each Student Learning Outcome.
