Kat Peterson

I am an undergraduate in Animal Ecology, Pre-Vet & Wildlife Care option. I am also working towards a minor in Emerging Global Diseases. I first fell in love with the idea of exotics when I was a child. I grew up around exotic animals as my dad was an enthusiast for reptiles and fish. I started as an intern at the Wildlife Care Clinic in the fall of 2018. During this internship, I was able to work with many different species that I had never been able to work with before and I truly learned what it was like to work in rehabilitation. This sparked a passion in me-so much so that I sought to be a staff member for the clinic. I came on as a staff member during the spring of 2019. I currently overlook clinic operations and run all of the educational programs that the clinic has to offer to the community.
