Proper care for wild animals can be very expensive. The cost to care for animals that are severely debilitated and require extensive medical care can easily exceed $1,000.
With your support, you can sponsor a current patient during its hospitalization or one of the clinic's permanently disabled educational birds. You may choose which animal you would like to sponsor! See below for available animals.
SPONSOR A PATIENT
Sponsoring a patient allows you to not only help us take care of our patients and reduce costs for the Wildlife Care Clinic, but to become involved in the rehabilitation and release of an animal. Your sponsorship will be used to cover any medical supplies, equipment, and food that is needed for their care. Your donation will also help cover diagnostics as well as any surgeries that may be performed in an effort to release the patient.
When you sponsor a patient, you will receive current updates on the patient and will get the opportunity to attend the animal's release. Click on the picture of each current patient to see their profile and sponsorship fees.

SPONSOR AN AMBASSADOR
Our permanent educational raptors are housed at the WCC due to their non-releasable status as a result of previous injuries sustained. They have become ambassadors through educational efforts by attending programs, acting as models for Iowa wildlife, and helping inform the public of our facility and how they can help. When you sponsor one of these animals, you will be funding the housing and nutrition they need.
When you choose to sponsor one of our permanent educational birds, you will receive a certificate, a picture of your sponsored ambassador, as well as a tour of the WCC facility. Click on the picture of each ambassador to see their profile and sponsorship fees.
