We study People, Land Use and Society (PLUS). The PLUS lab is directed by Dr. John Tyndall, a natural resource economist and social scientist with broad interests in environmental and natural resource economics, policy and sociology within forestry and agriculture.
The PLUS lab is happy to announce that Emma Bravard graduated with her MS and is now a Research Associate in NREM continuing to work on some of the cool science she develeoped in her masters program. Her thesis is titled: "Financial data and analysis for use with the Agricultural Conservation Planning Framework". Congratulations to Claire Zabel who successfully defended her masters project entitled: "Evaluation of cover crop adoption decision-support tools in the US Midwest". She did a great job!
Melanie recently graduated with a degree in Forestry and has started her MS (Fall 2020). Melanie is co-advised by Drs. Lisa Schulte Moore and John Tyndall. She will be working on examining unique ecosystem outcomes associated with prairie strips and patches.
