We study People, Land Use and Society (PLUS). The PLUS lab is directed by Dr. John Tyndall, a natural resource economist and social scientist with broad interests in environmental and natural resource economics, policy and sociology within forestry and agriculture.

We are happy to welcome Haleigh Summers to the PLUS lab here at ISU! Haleigh is starting her PhD in Sustainable Agriculture this spring.

November 20, 2019

Caroline Murray presented "Do prairie strips increase Monarch abundance in Iowa crop fields?" at the November 2019 annual meeting of the Entomological Society of America, in St. Louis, MO. She won second prize in the student presentation category. Not too shabby for her first national meeting. Congrats! You'll have to ask her for the answer to the title question...
