Dr. Pritchard has a shared appointment with ISU's Department of Natural Resources Ecology and Management, and the Department of Landscape Architecture. He is an Adjunct Associate Professor for both departments.

James Pritchard teaches "Introduction to Renewable Resources," as well as courses in Natural Resource Policy, History, and Philosophy.  As an environmental historian, he specializes in the history of our national parks, and the history of wildlife conservation & wildlife science.

Dr. Pritchard has returned from Ottawa, Ontario, the capitol city of Canada (see picture).  He always looks forward to winter and more skiing with the ISU Nordic Ski Club.  Pritchard is also the advisor for the ISU Cycling Club, and for NAI (National Association for Interpretation, ISU Student Chapter).
