These are prairie strips at the Iowa State University Armstrong Research and Demonstration Farm near Lewis, Iowa. The birdsong audio was recorded within a prairie strip at Armstrong on 5/18/2016 at 6:36 a.m. Footage was partly collected on private farms in eastern Iowa.
