At the ISU Bioeconomy Institute, Brooke specializes in coordinating STRIPS programming and evaluation, facilitating events, and external communications. Brooke grew up in a farming and prairie-loving family near Kankakee, Illinois and studied Environmental Science at Drake University. Since 2024, Brooke has served on the Board of the Women, Food, and Agriculture Network [ https://wfan.org/ ] and the Iowa State University Professional & Scientific Staff Council Member [https://www.pscouncil.iastate.edu/about-us].
