Position
  • Graduate Research Assistant
  • Dr. Adam Janke
I am a PhD student beginning in Fall 2025, studying how grassland and shrubland birds, such as Northern Bobwhite and other priority species, use Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) lands. My research aims to understand habitat use patterns and provide insights for improving management and conservation of these bird communities.

I am originally from Nepal, where I worked as a Research Officer with Bird Conservation Nepal. In this role, I had the opportunity to study birds across a variety of ecosystems, from lowland to high mountain habitat. My work allowed me to gain experience in field surveys, population monitoring, and habitat assessments while contributing to applied conservation efforts.
