Graduate Research Assistant

I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology with an emphasis in Fisheries Ecology and Management from Kansas State University in 2016. During my undergrad, I worked for the KSU Fish Ecology Lab on a variety of projects and conducted an undergraduate research project regarding PIT tag retention and small scale movement of prairie stream fishes. After graduating, I worked for the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism surveying streams for imperiled pelagic spawners. I began my research at Iowa State during the fall of 2016 studying habitat use, movement rates and seasonal home range sizes of Walleye and Muskellunge in two Iowa impoundments.
