More Information
In 2019, I received a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology with a concentration in environmental remediation and restoration from the University of South Carolina-Aiken. My undergraduate research was focused on analyzing nuclear DNA in wood stork chicks to test for nest parasitism within populations. I am currently working towards earning my Masters in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology under the advisement of Dr. Kevin Roe. For my thesis research, I will be assessing genetic variation across Truncilla species, with a specific focus on phylogenetic relationships and species delineation.
