I coordinate cross departmental and college research and extension activities on prairie strips and their impacts on farmland, farm livelihoods, and soil, water and wildlife conservation. My expertise is in agronomy and soil microbiology and I am passionate about building communities of all kinds; particularly reconstructing Iowa's natural heritage both ecologically and culturally while meeting the social and economic needs of its citizens. When I'm not working you can find me outdoors with family and friends.
