Landon Jones
Position
- Assistant Professor
I am a wildlife ecologist interested in how space structures animal movements, behavior, and populations. In my research, I combine fieldwork with quantitative approaches and technological tools such as geographic information systems (GIS), simulation modeling, and drones to answer applied questions to inform conservation efforts and to advance ecological theory. I conduct research in a variety of typically heterogenous and human-impacted landscapes in the U.S. and in the tropics.
