Etienne Pienaar

As a lifelong angler, I wish to serve the public in science-based conservation of fisheries resources. My interests are fisheries population dynamics, management of invasive fishes, and acoustic telemetry. My major professor is Dr. Michael Weber, who will be advising me in completing a master's thesis studying the movements of invasive Bighead and Silver Carp in Iowa tributaries using acoustic telemetry.
