Cassandra Nuñez, Adjunct Assistant Professor received a Broadening Participation Travel Award to attend the Society for Integrative and Comparative Biology 2019 Annual Meeting, January 3-7 in Tampa, FL.
The Society for Integrative & Comparative Biology allows students, post-docs, faculty members to attend the annual conference by providing help with the costs of travel, lodging and registration. All applicants filled out an application and provided one letter of recommendation to be considered for the award. The Broadening Participation Travel Awards for the 2019 meeting are partially funded by the Gans Collection and Charitable Fund Inc.
