Members of the Iowa Chapter of The Wildlife Society hosted a student conclave in 2018. The event was held in Boone, Iowa and included participants from other Midwestern academic institutions in the region. Highlights included a Trumpeter Swan restoration talk, a river otter necropsy, and other presentations and activities. The 2017 Student Conclave TWS was hosted by Purdue University.
