More Information
I am specifically interested in landscape ecology to advance science in decision making through ecological modelling that is instrumental to bolster environmental sustainability. My research is hinged towards understanding how People in Ecosystem and Watershed Integration (PEWI) can be used to promote multi-functional ecosystem landscapes.
This is critical because the ecological landscape which supports the wealth and well being of man through various land uses is replete with complexity, uncertainty and overwhelming human demands. Thus, this necessitates a paradigm shift of how we make decisions relating to land use. My goal is to solve complexity related to making important decisions to land use management by the use of science and modelling.
