Project Role: Landowner and community leader research in the Grand River Grasslands

Role on Project

I am focusing on the social implications of the project, and have collected data from local landowners and community leaders through a survey and interviews. We are trying to better understand beliefs and attitudes towards fire and grazing in order to identify ways of encouraging community acceptance of fire and grazing as sustainable grassland management tools.
