Duties

Leigh Ann joined the NREM staff in September 2003 as a Research Associate. Since May 2011, she has had a split appointment between Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering as the manager of the Water Quality Research Laboratory (WQRL) (80% time), and also provides support for several projects in NREM in the riparian buffer and stream restoration research group with Dr. Dick Schultz and Dr. Tom Isenhart, including ongoing research at Bear Creek Watershed near Roland, IA (20% time). Her research interests are in water analysis techniques, soil quality, and nutrient transformations and cycling through ecosystems.
