Science II Prairie is a 0.15 hectare reconstructed prairie located on the north side of the ISU campus between the buildings of Science I and Science II. In 1973, at the completion of Science II, the parking lot between Science I and Science II was removed and the area planted with prairie grasses and forbs. This website contains information about restoration ecology and the history, species composition, management, and study of the Science II prairie, as well as Links to other restoration ecology related websites.
