Coast Guard Auxiliary in Des Moines is offering a boating safety class that meets the requirements for the State of Iowa. The course will be taught by Doug Jansen. The cost is $20 which includes books and the course completion certificate. Classes like this may be useful when trying to obtain a job at the federal level (USFWS).
