A major in the Department of Natural Resource Ecology and Management offers many career options, including work as an aquaculturist, ecologist, environmental scientist, fisheries scientist, forester, hydrologist, logging engineer, marine scientist, naturalist, remote sensing specialist, veterinarian, wildlife biologist, wildlife rehabilitator, or wood scientist. Some careers require graduate or professional training, so also consider a graduate education in NREM to explore more options.
