Since graduation he has been employed at two other places within GIS. The first position as a GIS Coordinator was with the Leech Lake Reservation, Department of Resource Management were he completed various GIS related projects in support of their environmentally based programs. He also worked on various projects initiated by the tribal government.
The second position Todd held was as the GIS Specialist for Story County, Iowa where he completed several duties mainly related to Planning and Zoning. He also handled all Enhanced 911 related duties as was needed. He helped various departments with their GIS as well as their Global Positioning System needs.
On 1 October 2003, Todd joined the NREM staff as the GIS Lab Manager and is currently providing GIS research support to several faculty and staff throughout the department. In addition, he will be assisting Dr. Steven Jungst with the lab portions of NREM 446 and NREM 546.
