Research
Dr. Rule’s research interests are in the areas of agroforestry, short rotation woody crops and industrial forestry, focusing on socio-economics and policy. She is currently involved with collaborative projects involving poplar production systems, both in Iowa and in Europe (Hungary), working on financial analyses of these systems.
