Reasearch

Dr. Pease's research interests are primarily in the area of human dimensions of resource management and the interactions of humans with natural resources. They include investigation of interpretive strategies and their effect on visitors to natural areas and nature centers. Investigation of social and economic factors affecting people's attitudes and behaviors toward wildlife and the effectiveness of different communication efforts about wildlife is also an area of interest.
