Dr. Wray's professional interests are in forest management, biology, Christmas trees, windbreaks, urban & community forestry, and extension education. He has been a member of the ISU Forestry Department since 1975.

His duties in extension include coordinating Forestry Field Days, Woodland Stewardship Conferences, Forestry Educational Programs, and Master Woodland Manager’s Program. He also assists individuals with inquires relating to all aspects of woodland management and urban and community forestry.
