System Sustainability

The Outcomes Assessment Committee has primary responsibility for ensuring that the assessment effort for the department is sustained. To help ensure that sustainability, the committee has developed a timetable of data collection events related to the indirect outcomes assessment measures. As outcomes maps are developed for each of the curricula in the department and additional direct measures of outcomes are identified, a timetable for that data collection will be added to guide collection of that data as well.

Central to the long-term sustainability will be an effort to further educate faculty about the advantages of outcomes assessment. That will be an ongoing effort on the part of the Assessment Committee.
