Course and Curriculum Assessment

During the 2008/2009 academic year, the NREM outcomes Assessment Committee will place emphasis in the following two areas:

1. Revision of curricula maps for each of the options in Animal Ecology and Forestry to determine how and where the various components of the twelve outcomes are addressed in courses required in each of the curricula within the department. The revisions are necessitated by changes to the Collage of Agricultural and Life Sciences outcomes and the resulting changes in NREM learning outcomes.
2. Development of Assessment Rubrics for departmental outcomes to provide faculty with uniform guidelines for assessing those aspects of their courses that address portions of the departmental outcomes.
